The buzzword of 2021 and apparently 2022 as well. The one and only, “NFT”. But what on earth is it and I mean what REALLY is it?
There’s so many scams happening, so many people are making millions of an “NFT”. Would you believe if I told you that a GIF of a cat who has a rainbow streak while it’s travelling across space was sold for 69 MILLION USD? Who the hell buys a fricking GIF of a cat on a rainbow? It didn’t even have good graphics.
Oh, this is not the worst part. People are buying pictures of monkeys. Let it sink in. FRIKCING MONKEYS.
However, what if it’s not as stupid as it seems? At least for the most part. Some of it is actually plain stupid. What if there’s some actual meaning behind it?
This is gaining a lot of attention, so maybe there’s more to it than what meets the eye. Let’s understand it from LEVEL 0. I’ll also link a few resources from which you can get the gist of NFTs. Those would be enough to understand it if you’re just starting out. If you want to get more into depth, then you’ll be exploring the world of blockchain pretty deeply.
This is to give you the very BASIC idea of what NFTs are. The bridge which connects you to the entry gate of the NFTs.
“But I don’t know any tech part of blockchain”. Yeah yeah, I doubt most people do. You won’t have to understand the tech part but it’d help to understand the few fancy terms (really easy once you understand them) first. The words are fancy to be able to differentiate from the real world and digital world, and also who doesn’t like to sound smart?
